One of the worst feelings when buying a tee is getting something that feels off — uncomfortable to wear, and even worse, shrinking two sizes after the first wash. At Projectwerks, we’ve made it our mission to design garments that redefine that experience. Our focus has always been on creating pieces that feel premium, unique, and confidence-inspiring, all while carrying designs that stand out.
That vision led to the creation of the Zerosports Oversize Boxy Tee — built from ultra-soft, treated cotton with a premium 230 GSM weight. We meticulously tested multiple samples to find a fabric that drapes naturally yet delivers that substantial, heavy feel every great boxy tee should have. The silhouette features dropped shoulders, a slightly cropped body, and a 2x2 ribbed neckline designed for both structure and comfort.
The design pays tribute to the legendary ZeroSports Hawkeye, a time attack car known for its rare body kit and groundbreaking influence on the Hawkeye chassis. Finishing details include a high-density woven label that honors Japan’s iconic Tsukuba Circuit, tying together the worlds of motorsport and streetwear through craftsmanship and culture.

The ZeroSports design was inspired by one of Japan’s most iconic tuners — Zero Sports, a brand renowned for its mastery in Subaru performance engineering. Known for crafting high-performance components and pushing the limits of the Hawkeye STI, Zero Sports represented precision, innovation, and an unrelenting pursuit of speed. Their builds — from upgraded exhaust and intercooler systems to aerodynamic kits and coilover suspensions — were more than mechanical; they were expressions of craft and culture.
We took that same spirit and reimagined it through the lens of modern streetwear. The tee embodies the raw energy and engineering ethos of the Zero Sports Hawkeye while translating it into a wearable statement piece. With its boxy, oversized fit, premium 230 GSM cotton, and sharp graphic composition, the design captures the aggression and balance of the Hawkeye chassis in a form made for everyday wear. Every detail — from the bold typography to the woven label inspired by Tsukuba Circuit — pays homage to the golden era of Japanese tuning while aligning with Projectwerks’ vision of Pure Mastery: where craftsmanship meets culture.
